Contribution to the achievement of the UN Sustainable Development Goals

EL5-Energo is one of the largest power generation companies in Russia. We believe that as a major market player, we can and should contribute to the achievement of the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

While we support all 17 SDGs, we have prioritized four of them that we will primarily support in our operations. The priority SDGs were selected based on their strong alignment with our business strategy.

For the remaining goals, we contribute as much as possible by implementing initiatives.

For us, the SDGs are more than global goals. Our company is working on the selected goals in more detail, guiding and thinking through the initiatives with the objectives contained in the goals we have chosen as a priority.

We strive to be transparent about our actions and intentions with the following tools:

• Sustainability Plan

While setting the goals of our Sustainability Plan, we also set out our intentions by linking them to the UN SDGs. Thus, the achievement of each indicator of the Plan contributes to an increase in our contribution to the corresponding global goal.

• Program of support and development of local communities

Our socially significant projects are directly linked to the UN SDGs. An annual, comprehensive analysis of project effectiveness helps us understand whether a project has truly made the difference in local communities that we hoped it would.

• Sustainability Report

In our report and on our corporate website, we describe the Company's key sustainability achievements and contributions to UN SDGs last year.
