Moscow, February 15, 2024 – PJSC EL5-Energo published its operating results for the fourth quarter and full year of 2023.

Gross power production and net power output in 2023 increased by more than 2% y-o-y, in particular due to the following reasons:

• the wind farms power output increased by 2.5 times thanks to the Kolskaya wind farm operation throughout 2023, including the period after the commissioning of the second stage of the power plant since March 1, 2023 and reaching the installed capacity of 202 MW (compared to one month of operating the first stage of the power plant (170 MW) at the end of 2022), as well as thanks to the Azovskaya wind farm being constantly loaded;
• the gas output remained actually unchanged: strong indicators of economic growth in general and electricity consumption in particular led to an increase in the load of the company’s steam power units by the System Operator, primarily at Konakovskaya GRES. This made it possible to compensate for the negative output dynamics at Nevinnomysskaya GRES arisen by the maintenance on the generating equipment there.

Heat sales decreased by 4.3% in 2023 compared to 2022, primarily due to higher temperatures in the regions of the company's presence.
