Enel Russia appoints Andrey Podsvirov as the Nevinnomysskaya GRES director

Moscow, February 11, 2020 – PJSC Enel Russia has appointed Andrey Podsvirov as the Director of Nevinnomysskaya GRES. In this position he will replace Dmitry Kazarin, who would proceed with his professional plans beyond the Company. 

Since 1996 Mr.Kazarin started to work at Nevinnomysskaya GRES in the position of auxiliary operator of CCGT boiler and turbine equipment. Since 2015 he was the Director of another PJSC Enel Russia’s branch “Sredneuralskaya GRES”, and since 2017 he headed Nevinnomysskaya GRES. 

Andrey Podsvirov was born in 1971. In 1996 he graduated from Stavropol Polytechnic Institute majoring in Electric Power Supply (by branches) with Engineer qualification. In 1991 he started his career at Nevinnomysskaya GRES: from electrician for the repair of instrumentation and automatics (4th category) to Head of the Thermal Automatics and Measurement Department. In 2010-2011 he worked in Italy in the Technical Department of the Enel Group’s Global Generation. Since 2012 he has been working in PJSC Enel Russia’s Headquarters, and in 2017 he became the Head of Operational Performance Optimization. 

Under the supervision of Mr.Podsvirov the range of Company’s strategic projects in the field of digitalization, operational performance optimization and operational reliability of power plants has been implemented. Additionally, under his auspices Enel Russia Thermal Generation put into action the project on youth skills development in the technical unit “Your Chance”.

Mr.Podsvirov’s native language is Russian and he has a complete command of English and Italian.
