EL5-Energo held lessons dedicated to the culture of safe behavior for the schoolchildren in Azov region

On September 6 and 7, the experts from EL5-Energo PJSC held risk management lessons for more than 100 schoolchildren from 4 schools in Azov region as part of the corporate project #LiveSafely. In-house coaches of the company from several production branches including the Urals and Tver region came to discuss the issue with primary and secondary pupils.

At the play-based lessons conducted at Margaritovskaya, Novo-Margaritovskaya, Port-Katonovskaya and Aleksandrovskaya schools the company employees talked about the risks that the children can encounter in everyday life, learnt to find and eliminate them together as well as to draw the attention of adults to the need of eliminating the risks. Moreover, the schoolchildren who live and study in close proximity to  the Azov Wnd Farm of EL5-Energo also knew how wind farms are arranged, how energy is generated and where it is supplied.

The representatives of EL5-Energo awarded the most active children with the Company’s memorable souvenirs and donated as well some children's books with the basic facts about the electric power industry to school libraries.

In Rostov region there is the Azov Wind Farm owned by the company EL5-Energo PJSC. The plant has the 90 MW installed capacity and it is capable of generating about 320 GWh per year, while avoiding the emission of about 260,000 tons of carbon dioxide into the atmosphere. The wind farm consists of 27 WTGs located on the total area of 133 hectares.
