Alexander Panov
General Director of the Kola Wind Power Plant LLC

In 2009 Alexander Panov graduated from the Institute of Civil Engineering and Architecture in Ural State Technical University with a degree in engineering.

лIn 2008 he started his career in Uralenergostroy Management Company and worked in its various divisions till 2019. Having worked his way from a leading engineer up to a project manager, Alexander took part in the design and construction of the 4th power unit of Beloyarsk NPP, a CCGT unit at Akademicheskaya CHPP, the MBIR Research Reactor and a large chemical plant in the Urals.

In 2019, Alexander Panov joined EL5-Energo PJSC (formerly Enel Russia PJSC) as the construction site manager for the Kola Wind Farm. Under his management, in the harsh conditions of the Far North, the Kola Wind Farm, the largest wind farm in the world beyond the Arctic Circle, was successfully built and put into operation in December 2022.

In February 2023 Alexander Panov has been appointed General Director of EL5-Energo's subsidiary, Kola Wind Power Plant LLC.

As part of his career development, Alexander studies numerous international advanced training courses, and in 2017 received an MBA degree from the The Presidential Academy (RANEPA).

In 2022, Alexander's contribution to the construction of the world's largest wind farm beyond the Arctic Circle was granted with an industry award from the Ministry of Energy of the Russian Federation.
