Academic cooperation

Integration of science, education and innovation is one of the key factors for the successful development of the society and economy. The need for well-skilled specialists is growing, thus leading to the integration of universities and employers. Being a socially driven company operating on the sustainable development principles, we strive for contributing to training not only future specialists - power engineers, but also experts in other sectors of the economy, actively participating in various educational and research programmes.

Through our educational initiatives and academic cooperation projects we contribute to UN Sustainable Development Goal 4 ("Quality Education") by helping the youngsters to acquire the skills they need to build successful careers.

In EL5-Energo we cooperate with secondary and higher education institutions, encourage academic cooperation and promote education of students tailored to the needs of our business. To achieve these goals we arrange various seminars, workshops, lectures and round tables. Students visit our power plants, gain new knowledge, learn about energy production processes and undergo production and pre-graduation internships and apprenticeships. We also make a financial contribution by providing students with technical equipment and equipped classrooms and granting scholarships for the brightest students and talented teachers.
