Enel X Rus signed a cooperation agreement in Sverdlovsk Region

  • The purpose of the Agreement is to develop the charging infrastructure for electric vehicles in the Sverdlovsk region, and to cooperate in the field of sustainable energy projects implementation

Ekaterinburg, July 6, 2021 - Within the INNOPROM International Industrial Trade Fair 2021, Enel X Rus, subsidiary of Enel X in Russia, signed a Cooperation Agreement with the Development Corporation of the Sverdlovsk Region (DCSR). The Agreement has been signed by Enel X Rus General Director Alexey Leonov and DCSR’s General Director Maksim Prachik.

The purpose of the Agreement is to develop the charging infrastructure for electric vehicles in the Sverdlovsk region including digital solutions, and to cooperate in the field of sustainable energy projects implementation. Enel X Rus will contribute to achieving these goals as an innovation partner and a provider of charging infrastructure technologies.

“Increasing investment in the production of electric vehicles is a global trend. We see that the largest carmakers declare the termination of the development of natural gas vehicles. In order to implement the Agreement, the Parties committed to establish a data sharing process, to organize events on e-mobility and related infrastructure development issues. 

Previously, Enel X Rus supplied its charging stations for the first integrated project of fee-based public charging network in the Far East. Company’s public charging stations are also present in Moscow, Chelyabinsk, Krasnoyarsk, Novokuznetsk, Gorno-Altaysk and other cities.
