In 1995, Zhanna Sedova graduated Perm State University with a degree in jurisprudence.

From 1995 to 2010, she taught private international law and the basics of external economic activity at Perm State University.

In 2001, she defended her Ph.D. thesis at the Russian Academy of Public Administration under the President of the Russian Federation on the topic “International Legal Entity as a Subject of International Private Law”.

Since 2006, she has been an associate professor at the Department of International Law of the Russian Academy of Justice.

Mrs.Sedova has been practicing law since 1993, since 2003 - in the energy sector (JSC Permenergo, JSC TGK-9, JSC OGK-4), since 2009 she has been an arbitration court judge of the Self-Regulatory Organization NP MOD SOYUZDORSTROY.

Since August 2010, Zhanna Sedova took the position of Head of Legal and Corporate Affairs at EL5-Energo (previously Enel Russia). Since May 1, 2022, the Board of Directors of PJSC EL5-Energo appointed Zhanna Sedova as the General Director of the Company.

Since December 9, 2022, Zhanna Sedova undertook her previous position of Deputy General Director – Head of Legal Affairs and Corporate Relations.
